The Shiver Me Timbers Millenium Park is a playground created from ideas and suggestions culled from the children and families of the Lake Charles' community. The unique area features a history wall created from 400-year-old cypress logs, as well as different themed areas that explore a variety of periods from the state's history. The park is located just north of the lake, near the Amtrak station.
